Curtis Mayfield Tribute

GUESTS: TBA Curtis Mayfield, singer-songwriter, performer, and self-taught guitarist known for writing socially conscious songs, died on Sunday. Over the years, he built a highly successful career as an artist and businessman,by publishing his own songs, building his own record label, Curtom, and composing movie scores such as for the blaxploitation classic, Superfly. While performing in 1990, a freak accident left him paralyzed from the neck down. His songs still stand as their own soundtrack for the late 20th century African-American experience. Join Juan Williams and guests for a look at the life and music of Curtis Mayfield
