Toxic Algae Blooms

NPR's John Nielsen reports that toxic algae blooms may be causing the premature death for many fish in U.S. bays and rivers. Scientists predict that the blooms may have killed hundreds of sea lions, dolphins, mammals, whales and sea otters. President Clinton and Congress recently agreed to increase funding to study the algae bloom problem.
