Peace Talks End Without Agreement

NPR's Ted Clark reports that peace talks between Israel and Syria in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, end today without reaching a tentative agreement. Yesterday President Clinton met with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa for two-and-a-half hours. He later met with each leader separately.
