Mideast Peace Talks to Resume

NPR's Linda Gradstein reports from Jerusalem that peace talks between Israel and Syria are expected to resume this week, despite speculation that they would be postponed. Editorials in Syrian newspapers over the weekend said Syria would not allow Israeli settlers to remain on the Golan Heights, as part of any agreement that returns the territory to Syria. The Syrian editorials appeared after Israeli newspapers published a secret American document about the Israeli-Syrian negotiations.
