Congress To Tackle Healthcare Reform

NPR's Julie Rovner reports that healthcare reform legislation is expected to have a high priority, as Congress convenes this week following a two-month recess. Healthcare is expected to play a major role in this year's election campaign, and Republicans are scrambling to find a compromise between the House and Senate bills that passed last year. The biggest obstacle is the issue of whether patients should be allowed to sue their health maintenance organizations for damages.
