Host Bob Edwards talks to Michael Waldman, former director of speechwriting in the Clinton White House, about the way President Clinton goes about crafting his State of the Union messages. Waldman helped write the last four such addresses. He says that by the time President Clinton delivers one, he's put his own mark on the entire speech.
