California Lawmakers Pass Budget Deal

California's lawmakers approved Friday approved a plan to balance the state's budget.

The deal was similar to the one announced earlier this week by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, but does not include some of the most controversial proposal, leaving a $1 billion gap.
