Eichmann Memoirs to be Published

NPR's Jennifer Ludden reports that Israel announced it would hand over unpublished memoirs of executed Nazi official Adolf Eichmann to use as evidence in a British libel suit. British historian David Irving brought the suit against U.S. author Deborah Lipstadt, who in a 1995 book called him "a dangerous spokesman for Holocaust denial." Many Jews see this suit as putting the Holocaust itself on trial.
