Russian Journalist Released

NPR's Michele Kelemen reports that Russian authorities released journalist, Andrei Babitsky who had been detained in the southern region of Dagestan a month after disappearing in Chechnya. Babitsky was arrested by Russian troops in mid-January, for allegedly lacking proper accreditation and on suspicion of helping the Chechen rebels.
