Kudzu-Killing Fungus

Noah Adams speaks with 18-year-old Jeremy Farris who has identified a kudzu-killing fungus and developed a way to use it against the vine that has enveloped so much of the Southeast. Farris, a senior at Houston County High School in Warner Robins, has won numerous honors for his work with a kudzu-attacking fungus. He was among a small group of teen scientists invited to present the results of their research at the annual meeting last month of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
