Errol Morris

NPR's Jacki Lyden talks with filmmaker Errol Morris about his television series First Person. Morris is known for his quirky documentaries, like The Thin Blue Line, Fast Cheap and Out of Control, and most recently Mr. Death This is his first attempt at a television series. Each half hour episode focuses on a strange personality or story, including profiles of Professor Temple Grandin, who is attempting to build a more humane slaughterhouse; Saul Kent, a pioneer activist in cryonics; and Sondra London, a woman who has had romantic relationships with serial killers.
