Rezulin Recall

NPR's Jon Hamilton reports that the FDA has requested that Rezulin, a popular diabetes drug, be withdrawn from the market after being linked to at least 61 deaths from liver poisoning. Rezulin was once cheered as offering new hopes for some patients suffering from diabetes.
