Doctors Want More Control

NPR's Julie Rovner reports that a Congressional committee is scheduled to vote on a bill today that would give self-employed doctors the right to bargain collectively with insurance companies. Doctors argue that the increasing power of managed care has resulted in loss of control over their practices. Health Care experts say doctors just want more money.
