Pope and Judaism

NPR's Sylvia Poggioli reports from Jerusalem that despite Pope John Paul II's impassioned words at the Holocaust memorial at Vad Yashem, many Israelis remain suspicious of the vast Christian Church he heads. While relations between Christians and Jews have improved vastly in recent decades, they still have a long way to go.
