Pope

Pope John Paul the Second today ended his historic week-long trip to the Holy Land. He spent his last day touring Jerusalem's Old City, visiting shrines holy to Christians, Muslims and Jews. It was a final day for the Pontiff to express his message of unity and reconciliation ... and it was marked by the political undertones that have touched his entire visit. NPR's Jennifer Ludden reports from Jerusalem.
