NPR's Adam Hochberg reports that leaders of the nation's Jewish reform congregations have given rabbis permission to conduct ceremonies uniting gay couples. The Central Conference of American Rabbis thereby becomes the largest religious group in the country to authorize same sex unions. It represents some 18 hundred reformed rabbis and their congregations, which total more than a million members.
