NPR's White House Correspondent Mara Liasson reports that President Clinton used his news conference yesterday to urge Congress to pass a number of his legislative priorities. They include Health Care Reform, gun control, and a minimum wage increase. He also used the opportunity to encourage oil companies to quickly convert OPEC's increased oil production into lower prices at the gas pump.
