High Blood Pressure Drugs

NPR's Patricia Neighmond reports on a study in this week's New England Journal of Medicine that has good news for people with high blood pressure. Two types of drugs, beta blockers...which work to slow down the heartbeat...and diuretics...which help rid the body of excess fluid ...do not carry as great a risk of diabetes as previously thought.
