NPR 100: Earl Scruggs

"Foggy Mountain Breakdown," by Earl Scruggs, was perhaps the tune that introduced audience to bluegrass music. It was popularized in the 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde. And it is one of the "NPR 100," voted one of the most important American songs of the 20th century. Paul Brown has a profile.
