Apollo 13 Flight Simulation Reveals New Twist

Commentator Andrew Chaikin says a recent computer simulation of NASA's failed Apollo 13 mission shows the alternative outcome would have been less grave than originally projected. The 1970 lunar mission was aborted en route when an oxygen tank exploded in space. The three-man crew had to use alternate propulsion methods to return to earth.
