Elian Gonzalez

NPR's Debbie Elliott reports from Miami that the great uncle of Elian Gonzalez and his supporters are jubilant over the ruling by a federal court in Atlanta. The ruling prevents the six-year-old Cuban boy from being taken out of the United States before the court decides whether he's entitled to a political asylum hearing. Attorney General Janet Reno said that yesterday's ruling does not prevent Elian from being reunited with his father, who is staying in suburban Washington D.C.
