Harold Ross

Steve talks with Thomas Kunkel, the editor of Letters From The Editor: The New Yorker's Harold Ross (Modern Library/2000). Harold Ross (1892-1951) was the founding editor of the magazine, and edited it primarily through letters to his editors and writers. (The audio of Harold Ross in our piece comes to us courtesy of The New Yorker magazine, and the Manuscripts and Archives Division of the New York Public Library.)
