Story of a Russian Entrepreneur

In the third part of a week-long series on the problems Russia faces, NPR's Anne Garrels profiles a Russian entrepreneur, who remains in business despite repeated set-backs, including several attempts on his life. Five years ago, Volodya started up a garage, car wash, tire business, and small general store. Since then, he's been through a nightmare of adversity, including trouble from bureaucrats and numerous attacks by criminals, who were protected by the local police chief.
