Thunderbirds

The U.S. Air Force's precision flying team, known as the Thunderbirds, threw a scare into civilian flight controllers Monday when four of the eight planes in the team took off from Andrews Air Force Base in Washington and veered into commercial airline space. NPR's Steve Inskeep reports.
