Peruvian Elections

NPR's Martin Kaste reports from Lima, Peru, on demonstrations against the government's decision to proceed with Sunday's presidential run-off election between Alberto Fujimori the incumbent, and Alejandro Toledo. Toledo, concerned about election fraud, says he will ignore Sunday's election. Millions of his supporters may follow suit, and may create a state of civil unrest in the country.
