Lazio Defines Himself a New Yorker

NPR's Melissa Block reports on the New York State Republicans' nomination of Representative Rick Lazio for Senate. Lazio goes up against Hillary Rodham Clinton for the seat. At last night's convention, Lazio defined himself as a supporter of lower taxes and responsible spending. He also took a swipe at the first lady's carpetbagger image by declaring himself "a New Yorker."
