Clinton - EU

NPR's Mike Shuster reports from Lisbon that a one-day summit meeting attended by President Clinton and European Union leaders produced no breakthroughs on U.S.-European trade disputes. Tomorrow, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak travels to Portugal to confer with President Clinton. Mr. Clinton told reporters today Israel's withdrawal from Lebanon has given greater urgency to Middle East peace negotia tions.
