Artists Remembered

Susan recounts the lives and works of two major American artists who died yesterday — sculptor George Segal and painter Jacob Lawrence. Segel's work appears in the FDR Memorial in Washington. Painter Jacob Lawrence is best known for his painting series Migration which shows the mass shift of African Americans from the south to northern states.
