Russian Authorities Arrest Gusinsky

NPR's Michele Kelemen reports that Russian authorities have arrested Vladimir Gusinsky, owner of the country's biggest independent media conglomerate. Gusinsky's liberal television, radio, newspaper and magazine group has often criticized the government of Vladimir Putin. Gusinsky says he is being persecuted because the Kremlin wants to crack down on independent news media.
