NPR's Barbara Bradley reports on the arrest of retired Army Reserve Colonel George Trofimoff, who is accused of spying for the former Soviet Union over a 25-year period. Trofimoff has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Tampa, Florida, which says he sold the USSR highly classified "documents, photographs, negatives, and information relating to the national defense of the United States." Trofimoff was born in Germany of Russian parents and became a US citizen in 1951 at the age of 25. He allegedly was recruited by a Russian Orthodox priest in 1969 to work for the KGB, the Soviet secret police.
