Gore's Proposals

NPR's Anthony Brooks reports on Vice President Al Gore's energy and environment proposals, which he'll start unveiling today in Philadelphia. The Vice President hopes the proposals will prevent defection among voters to Green candidate Ralph Nader. Gore also aims to draw a contrast with Republican presidential candidate George W. Bush, who has ties to Texas oil interests.
