Medicare Expansion

NPR's Julie Rovner has the story on the congressional bill passed last night that would expand Medicare to subsidize insurers' drug plans for beneficiaries. Both Republicans and Democrats are eager to appease seniors who are concerned about rising drug costs, though partisan battles stretched out the debate.
