Dancer Harold Nicholas has died at age 79. Nicholas was one of the famous "Nicholas Brothers," the smoothly acrobatic dance team of the 1930's and 40's. They created breathtaking 'flash moments' of leaping splits and elegant tap in films such as Stormy Weather. And they influenced several generations of dancers, performing in films, on Broadway and on television. Harold Nicholas suffered a heart attack early today, following minor surgery at a New York Hospital. He is survived by his older brother, Fayard. David D'Arcy reports. (3:00) The music which follows this piece is from the film "Stormy Weather" in 1943 in which the Nicholas Brothers performed.
