In 2002, Daniel Pearl, a reporter for The Wall Street Journal, was abducted in Karachi, Pakistan. Almost a month later, news of his brutal murder shocked the world. The movie A Mighty Heart tells Pearl's story through the eyes of his wife, Mariane Pearl. Director Michael Winterbottom discusses the film, which was adapted from Mariane Pearl's memoir by the same name. A Mighty Heart will be released in theaters on June 22.
