It's that time of year again: birders from Alaska to Venezuala will head outside with their binoculars to count birds for the Audubon Society's annual Christmas bird count. In this hour, we'll get the latest on the count from the director. We'll also talk with world-reknowned birder David Sibley about his new bird guide. Plus, New York State's bout with West Nile virus had an unexpected side effect—reams of data collected about bird mortality across the state. We'll talk with New York State wildlife pathologist Ward Stone about the findings.
