Philadelphia based singer-songwriter Ben Arnold makes his first appearance on Mountain Stage on this encore episode from 2007. Since this recording Arnold's fifth record Nevermind My Blues was the first by a singer-songwriter to be released on the forward-thinking label ropeadope (home of Charlie Hunter & King Britt). Arnold along with his band mates performs two songs from Nevermind My Blues.

Arnold has sustained himself as a songwrit3er starting with Almost Speechless which was released on major label Columbia in 1996. He's self-released two records, one of demos and another of acoustic recordings, plus 2004's Calico, released on SciFidelilty.
