Rate-Cut Rally

NPR's Jim Zarroli reports on the major stock and bond market rally triggered by yesterday's Federal Reserve decision to cut a critical interest rate. It was the fourth Fed interest rate reduction this year, and Wall Street was ecstatic. Fed policy makers say they're prepared to reduce the rate again next month, if the economy needs more stimulation.
