Cincinnati Officer Indicted

NPR's Eric Westervelt reports on Cincinnati residents' reactions to the grand jury decision to indict the white police officer who shot and killed an unarmed black man last month. Stephen Roach faces up to nine months in jail for two misdemeanor counts. While some protesters did take to the streets, many think that the combination of police presence, pleas of black clergy for peaceful protest, and heavy rains in the area helped keep anger over the indictment in check.
