Bush Judges President Bush introduced his first choices for federal judgeships today, introducing 11 nominees in a ceremony in the East Room of the White House. The president said they represented the best the legal profession had to offer and that they would observe "judicial restraint" when interpreting the laws and the Constitution. Mr. Bush removed a few names from this list because they were regarded as provocative.
