The Music of Tortoise

Tom Moon takes a look at group of musicians in the Chicago neighborhood of Wicker Park. The scene is centered around a group called Tortoise. Moon says that this band and its many splinter bands, are finding new ways of making mostly instrumental music that is part improvisation, part tightly planned, and often very interesting.
