Fertile Crescent Draining

Host Alex Chadwick talks to Dr. Tim Fordsman, head of the United Nations Environmental Program's Division of Early Warning and Assessment. They discuss the disappearing marshlands of the Fertile Crescent. Fordsman says Iraq's draining of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers has transformed the area into more of a salt flat than an iconic wet paradise.
