Tax Cut Haggling

NPR's Steve Inskeep reports on the partisan haggling on Capitol Hill over the size of the tax cut. Republicans are trying to keep their campaign promises to repeal the estate tax and "marriage penalty." Democrats, meanwhile, are concerned that some tax cuts will take effect too late to be useful for people in need now, and that other cuts will grow too costly over time.
