Germ Killing Polymer

Noah Adams talks with Kim Lewis, Associate Professor of Biotechnology at Tufts University, about a new polymer which kills some germs on contact. The polymer could be applied to surfaces where harmful bacteria might otherwise be transferred -- hospital doorknobs, for example. Lewis co-authored a study published in today's issue of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
