NPR's Linda Gradstein in Jerusalem reports President Bush made separate calls to the Israeli and Palestinian leaders today, urging them to work toward a ceasefire after eight months of violence. Israeli Prime Minister Sharon has agreed to a truce, but Palestinian officials say it's a ruse. Meanwhile, the bloodshed continued.
