Mojave Water

NPR's Andy Bowers reports from Twenty-Nine Palms, California, about plans to develop an aquifer under the Mojave Desert to supply Los Angeles with water. Developers who stand to make millions from the site say the project won't damage the region, but some ecologists say it could destroy this area of Southern California.
