An Interview with Michael Deaver

NPR's Scott Simon talks to Michael Deaver, former aide to President Ronald Reagan. Deaver's new book, A Different Drummer, describes his thirty years with Mr. Reagan, starting out in the mid 1960s as a low-level aide to the then-governor of California. Michael Deaver was President Reagan's deputy chief of staff and one of his closest confidantes. (A Different Drummer is published by Harper Collins.)
