Bush In California

Host Bob Edwards talks to NPR's Andy Bowers about President Bush's first trip to California since taking office. The GOP is concerned that the president has been perceived as unsympathetic to the state's energy crisis. With mid-term elections coming up, the party leadership wants to hold on to enough congressional seats in California to keep a majority in the U.S. House of Representatives.
