Ex-Tobacco Farmers

NPR's Adam Hochberg reports on one group's efforts to help North Carolina farmers stay profitable, even as demand for their main crop -- tobacco -- drops. The Golden Leaf Foundation is funded by the state's share of last year's tobacco settlement; it's got 39 alternative programs -- like goat farming -- in the works.
