Mexico - Leaf Musician
Listen
On the streets of Mexico City for more than four decades, Carlos Garcia has enchanted people with the music he produces by holding a leaf between his thumb and index finger, placing it to his lips, and blowing. The skill and repertoire of this musician is such that he has managed to build a home and raise four daughters with the tips he has earned. NPR's John Burnett has the story.
