American Convicted In Egypt

NPR's Kate Seelye reports from Cairo on efforts to free an Egyptian-American professor who is serving a lengthy prison sentence for embezzlement and violating an Egyptian military decree. Saad Eddin Ibrahim's defenders say the real reason he was tried was his criticism of Egypt's government.
